Sparrows can fly up to 31 miles per hour, that's a SUPER LONG distance. Baby sparrows usually stay in their nest when a parent goes for a long flight to get food for the babies so they can be strong and learn to fly.
Baby sparrows need a special diet of worms to stay strong but when the baby sparrows grow up, they have a different diet and eat insects, berries, fruit and seeds, they also need warmth and during the winter they house sparrow doesn't fly that much because of there lifetime.
Around the whole wide world, you never believe this but there are 29 different types of sparrows, for example, there is the common sparrow, the house sparrow and the true sparrow. Sparrows get around by flying most of the time but when they land to look for food, they jump on the ground to get around.
